We experience things both mentally and physically. In ”Pysäytyssana”-series, I am looking for the essence of these experiences through light and color.
All visible is realized with visible light. Einstein proved in the theory of relativity that even a visible light is bent under the influence of a great gravity field.
In this series mental states under pressure are depicted by curved light, as with the effect of a large gravity field.What we experience physically and mentally in weight, positive or negative, "bones and kernels".
In these works, light is bent to form human ribs. Bones and kernels empathize experiences into colors and shapes of light. The space and time around stops to a black blank square.
